Elk Attack
by Buck on Mar.16, 2009, under Buck's Dreams
This is one of a few last night. I kept waking up, knowing that I was dreaming but could not for the life of me recall the others. I even had the pen out ready to write it down.
Anyway, here is the one I did remember.
I was at the edge of a forrest. I can not remember for sure or it was even shown to me in the dream but I think I was right out side a big city.
I had a cheap tripod and a scope. I call it a scope only because that is how it functioned. It was very small and did not look like anything I have ever seen before. I only knew it was because I looked in to it and saw everything up close.
I heard a noise and looked up. I saw a hunter about 30-40 yards in front of me. He would walk about 10ft then get down on one knee for a bit then walk some more.
I was looking though my scope, for what I do not know, when I heard a ruckus. It was a HUGE elk coming out of the trees. It was like 2x larger then the biggest one I have ever seen. I watched the hunter trying to get in to position to take a shot when the elk attacked him. I had him to the ground stomping and pushing him with his antlers.
I stood up and started yelling and waving my arms to save him. After a minute or maybe a little less the hunter stopped moving and the elk started my way. I was backing up yelling and waving my arms. He was almost to me, I woke up.

Who’s there?

This one is from last night.
I was up in the middle of the night and started to doze off. I though I was still awake but I know I was dreaming.
… I was standing in my living room. I could this this thing, not sure what it was. It was about 4ft tall, plastic. Like a parking marker or something, one of those, “stop here” things.
I saw it moving and knew someone was trying to get in to my truck. I went to open the door and someone was trying to pull it shut. I yanked and yanked and I could see someone ever time I pulled.
I went to yell out for someone to help me. My hands slipped off the doorknob and I fell backwards. I was trying to yell but could not. I woke up and was doing this mumble type attempt at a yell.
My heart was pounding so bad it hurt. Although the dream itself was not that frightening, I just felt scared!
